His current work consists of wall hanging metal sculptures created from ordinary steel cut nails as well as hand painted lawn and plant sculptures made from brass and copper.
He uses a welding/cutting torch and brazing alloys such as nickel silver and silicone bronze in creating both of these types of sculptures. The pieces are then finished with a multiple step process utilizing fine glass beads, high air pressure, and wire brushing.
The finish is then protected by several layers of a metal coating preservative that prohibits tarnish or corrosion.
The result is a finish that is maintenance free.
