J & T Juice founder Joan Thomas was raised on fresh foods. Life was simple back when health was considered prosperity.

Its purpose was to relieve water retention and help with fatigue from vitamin and mineral deficiencies. Despite the garbanzo beans’ unconventional use as an ingredient for a drink, it was a hit. She began making it for her family and friends. Thus, Chick-Pea Delight was born.

Within that same year came Irie Blitz, made primarily from butternut squash, an excellent source of fiber and Vitamin C; next came the Irish Moss Smoothy– Irish Moss is traditionally used in treating respiratory illnesses; then Carrot Nectar– which boosts calcium and iron absorption, heals wounds and fight infections; and new in 2007 Chana Dal Ambrosia, its rich tastes is a true find especially for diabetics. It has almost no effect on blood glucose levels.
